the MILLLHOG®
Dictator, a
portable, ID
clamping, welding
end prep tool for
dry-cut beveling of
heavy-wall pipe.
The tool features extra-wide clamps for
rigidly mounting inside the pipe and incorporates hardened steel contact points.
According to the company, it produces a
clean, consistent, thick chip without cutting oils and eliminates the need for hand
grinding or clamshell tools.
Suitable for prepping 4.5-in.-ID to 18-
in.-OD pipe, the tool is available with a
variety of formed tool blades to produce
compound end preps on stainless steel,
superduplex, and other hard-to-machine
alloys. Powered by a pneumatic motor, the
tool develops 4,000 ft.-lbs. of torque. A
hydraulic motor is optional.
