name to Lincoln Industries
DS Mfg., a wholly owned subsidiary of
Lincoln Industries located in Pine Island,
Minn., is now operating under the same

Recently a Schuler spiral pipe plant was set up in
Mexico and produced the first spiral pipe. The latest
innovation by Schuler, a new coil-preparation-stand
allows short coil changing times as well as a 90
degree strip cut and increases workplace safety.
Pipes with a diameter of up to 2,235 mm (88 inches)
and a length of 12 to 24. 4 meters can be produced on
this offline spiral pipe plant. The whole spiral pipe
plant with a length of 280 m also includes equipment
from Schuler for peripherie (x-ray, ultrasonic,
hydrotesting). The total production capacity goes up
to 200,000 tons per year.
